This apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge to work across Primary, Secondary, and Special Education, supporting children and young people of all ages, including those with special educational needs or emotional vulnerabilities. Your role will be to ensure pupils understand the work set, remain focused on their learning objectives, and make consistent progress.

You will also develop a deep understanding of how self-belief, inclusion, and self-esteem impact pupil wellbeing and achievement. By fostering a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment, you will help pupils thrive, while building your own professional expertise and preparing for a successful career in education.

Learning is applied and reflective, with opportunities to put theory into practice in real classroom environments. You will also receive regular workplace visits, progress reviews, and mentoring from Trainer Assessors, ensuring you build the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to be an effective Teaching Assistant.
