A Level 2 qualification is equivalent to GCSE Grades 4-9 and you will be expected to have achieved at least four GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including Maths and/or English, to enrol on to one of these programmes. Successful completion of this course will pave the way for you to further your studies at Level 3.

Overview of Course

This occupation is found in both the new build and refurbishment Construction sector, which is central to creating the homes, schools, hospitals, energy and transport infrastructure society needs. There is growing demand for Carpenters and Joiners to help meet the need for new homes. Apprentices have the choice of specialising in Site Carpentry or Architectural Joinery, either working on a construction site or within a workshop respectively. Apprentices at the College benefit from industry standard workshops and industry expert trainer assessors, renowned within their field.

The online application and enrolment process is really simple, once you have clicked the “APPLY" or "ENROL” button you will be redirected to the portal where you either log in or create an account (if you haven’t done so previously). Once your applications has been made the next step will be for you to book yourself onto one of our interview evenings, depending on availability you might be able to do this straight away but otherwise we will get in contact to arrange when you come in for an interview.
