Course Overview Description

These sessions have been specifically designed to aid you in getting a plan of action together to effectively apply for a job role and prepare for an interview within the NHS. This course will help you to develop and gain confidence in a range of applications and interview scenarios.

What Will I Learn

You will learn:

An awareness of how to plan effectively to meet your own work of personal goals when applying for a job
How to navigate the NHS TRAC systems
How to recognise your own strengths as well as transferable skills which will be used on the application form and within an interview
How to complete a personal statement.
There will be an opportunity to put your learning into practice.

How Is The Course Delivered

The course can be delivered both face to face or online.
You will be required to complete a small amount of written and some verbal tasks.

Entry Requirements

You should be able to:

Have access to a computer, tablet or phone with an internet connection
Write in complete sentences using capital letters, full stops and question marks
Plan and write in short paragraphs
Identify main points and ideas in a text
Follow verbal and written instructions/including numerical information

How Learning Assessed

You will receive regular feedback from your expert teacher.

This course is free.
The course runs for 4 sessions at 3 hours per session.

ONLINE

The online application and enrolment process is really simple, once you have clicked the “APPLY" or "ENROL” button you will be redirected to the portal where you either log in or create an account (if you haven’t done so previously). We will then ask you to give us a couple of bits of information like address, mobile phone number ect and that’s it.

Once your applications has been made the next step will be for you to book yourself onto one of our interview evenings, depending on availability you might be able to do this straight away but otherwise we will get in contact to arrange when you come in for an interview.

At any point you can log back into the portal throughout the year, update information like your predicted GCSE grades, update contact and consent information and keep a live track of your application.
