By the end, you’ll be ready to move onto Level 3 Business, an apprenticeship or begin your career journey in this fast-paced sector.

Are you ambitious, creative, and curious about how businesses really work? Level 2 Business is the perfect way to kick-start your journey. It’s designed to help you build confidence, gain practical experience, and prepare for progression onto Level 3, an apprenticeship or into employment.

This course is all about learning through doing. Level 2 Business is delivered through classroom study, practical activities, and project-based learning. In college, you’ll explore areas such as business operations, marketing, finance, and customer service. Lessons are interactive, using group projects, case studies, and role play to develop both knowledge and practical skills. You’ll also complete assignments that reflect real-world business situations, helping you build confidence in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. This combination of theory and practice prepares you for progression to Level 3 Business or employment.
4 GCSE passes at a minimum of Grade 3, or a Level 1 BTEC which must include a Grade 3 in English Language and Maths.
Level 2 Business is assessed through a combination of internally marked coursework and externally set assessments. Internal coursework includes assignments, reports, presentations, role plays, and discussions, all linked to specific units studied on the course. In addition, a portion of the qualification is externally assessed. This may involve written examinations with a mix of question styles, or externally set assignments that test applied knowledge.
