Getting ready for adult life can feel like a big step, but the Preparation for Adulthood programme is here to help you feel confident and supported every step of the way. This course is designed for learners with additional needs who want to build the essential skills for independent living, work, and being part of the community.

You’ll explore all the practical areas that make life run smoothly – from managing money and shopping for yourself, to cooking simple meals, looking after your home, and travelling safely. Along the way, you’ll also work on personal skills like confidence, communication, and problem-solving, which are just as important when it comes to living more independently.
