Shampooing and Conditioning: Understand how to properly prepare hair for a cut, ensuring a perfect finish every single time.
Beard and Moustache Trimming: Perfect the art of grooming facial hair, learning how to shape, trim, and maintain beards and moustaches with precision.

4 GCSE passes at a minimum of Grade 3, or a Level 1 BTEC which must include a Grade 3 in English Language and Maths.
We know you want to see how much you’ve learned, and our assessment process is designed to help you shine! We focus on checking your skills in a practical, real-world way, so you can feel confident and ready for your career. You’ll get to show off your amazing talents through hands-on practical observations. This is your chance to perform services on real clients in our salon while your expert tutor supports you and assesses your fantastic work.

We’ll also help you build a brilliant portfolio. Think of this as your professional scrapbook, showcasing all your best cuts, styles, and shaves through photos and client feedback. It’s something you can be really proud of and even show to future employers! There will also be some short written assignments and oral questions to check your understanding of the theory behind the practice, like health and safety.
