This course is designed to empower foster carers by enhancing your self-confidence and resilience, two essential qualities that help you navigate the unique challenges of fostering. It will provide practical tools and strategies, to support the foster carers, enabling you to build stronger relationships with the children in your care while managing your own emotional well-being. The course will incorporate both theoretical knowledge and real-life applications in the form of scenarios, creating a holistic approach to fostering.
- Increase Self-Confidence: Equip foster carers with the skills to trust your own decisions, communicate effectively, and assert your needs.
- Enhance Resilience: Develop coping strategies to manage stress, setbacks, and emotional challenges in a healthy and productive way.
- Build Emotional Awareness: Foster self-awareness and emotional intelligence to better understand both your own feelings and those of the children you care for.
- Equip with Practical Tools: Provide actionable techniques and resources to handle difficult situations and improve the fostering experience
