All learners will need to undertake an initial assessment to determine individual starting points, prior learning, and personal goals. This will be reviewed by the course teacher prior to enrolment and pending the outcome of the assessment, a short interview may be required prior to learners accessing the course. Learners should be able to understand written and spoken English to Level 1 standards and will need a suitable device to access Microsoft Teams and complete their work on. There are no formal entry requirements for learners undertaking this qualification; however, centres must ensure that learners have the potential and opportunity to gain evidence for the qualification in the work place.
This is a flexible online course accessed through Microsoft teams with a weekly online tutorial meeting with your fellow learners and your tutor.
Learners can study at any time that is convenient to them, but the weekly minimum expectation would be 2-4 hours of study/course completion per week in order to complete the qualification within the 12-week period.
After each unit/section/research, learners will undertake quizzes and tasks to test their knowledge and understanding. Learners will also have the opportunity to attend online meetings with their teacher to discuss progress, review feedback and receive support where needed.
