Learners who speak English as a second or other language will complete an initial assessment of their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. In order to attend the course, learners should be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English at Entry Level 2 and above. The course will be delivered in a class in a community venue. If attending an online course: Learners will need a basic level of IT skills to be able to access the course and follow online instructions. If training or support is needed, please enquire about our free ICT courses. Learners will need access to a computer, laptop or tablet device with access to the internet. All devices should have a camera, sound and a microphone so they are able to interact with their teacher and peers during the course. The course will be delivered online using Microsoft Teams or zoom and learners will be sent the join details and links prior to the course. Both of these online platforms can be accessed via an app on a smart phone, tablet or iPad or alternatively via the relevant website.
