Are you aspiring to create your own media content and develop your practical skills in media production? Perhaps you are hoping to advance your knowledge and understanding of the processes and theory behind media.
A Level Media Studies will enable you to do all this and more, as you gain access to our state-of-the-art facilities and industry standard equipment. A Level Media Studies encourages you to critically engage with and evaluate a broad range of media texts. This course also focuses on how the media: television, film, advertising, radio, magazines, the internet, music and newspapers – affect the way we view the world!

With a Media Studies A Level you could go on to study a range of degree programmes, including Digital Media, Radio Production or Media Technology at a multitude of different universities. With salary ranges of between £20K - £75K there are a plethora of careers you could venture into, including becoming a Broadcaster, Producer, Marketing Manager or Advertising Executive.

The online application and enrolment process is really simple, once you have clicked the “APPLY" or "ENROL” button you will be redirected to the portal where you either log in or create an account (if you haven’t done so previously). We will then ask you to give us a couple of bits of information like address, mobile phone number ect and that’s it.

Once your applications has been made the next step will be for you to book yourself onto one of our interview evenings, depending on availability you might be able to do this straight away but otherwise we will get in contact to arrange when you come in for an interview.

At any point you can log back into the portal throughout the year, update information like your predicted GCSE grades, update contact and consent information and keep a live track of your application.
